Join me in a Creative Cluster

Creative Clusters to follow "The Artist's Way"

I'm facilitating a "Creative Cluster" of people to follow "The Artist's Way" course, as developed by Julia Cameron. Julia wrote the book "The Artist's Way' after teaching artists, writers and other creative people to get through creative blocks. It's great for all kind of artists - actors, writers, musicians. It also works well for people in any area of work who want to be more themselves and be more creative in their work. (Julia wrote a second book "The Artist's Way at Work" with Mark Bryan, which applies the same principles in the workplace)

What's involved in the course
- Buy or borrow the book "The Artist's Way" or "The Artist's Way at Work" and read a chapter each week.
- Commit to doing the two core exercises:
- Writing "morning pages" first thing every morning - 3 pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing
- Doing a weekly "Time Out" or "Artist's Date" - an hour or two of feeding your creativity-
- Spending 2 or 3 hours meeting with others in the cluster to work through the exercises in the chapter for the week, and to support each other with creative goals. The meeting may be in person, or a "virtual meeting" by telephone conference or via a group chat room (depending on the needs of people in the group).
- The cost will be nominal (enough to cover the organising costs - i.e. room hire if required and telephone conference call costs)

Who it will suit
Anyone who wants to be more productive, to get in the "creative flow", to make progress with their creative projects and who is prepared to commit the time to the course.

What to do if you're interested, or have questions

About me:
I'm a trained coach working with people who want to be happily productive in all areas of their life (including creative areas). I was given the book "The Artist's Way" by 3 friends when we were rehearsing our first play. I have since found Julia Cameron's writings really helpful, and inspirational, and want to follow the course again.
