Four questions to ask when you're preparing a speech.

The best, most beautifully crafted speech in the world won’t be memorable if it is delivered without passion.  Believe in what you are saying, seek to connect with and serve your audience, and they will remember the emotional impact you make on them.

Passion comes from within, not without.  It comes from caring about what you are saying and who you are saying it to.
Note: Passion and energy are not the same thing.   Just being louder, jumpier or noisier may have an impact - but it won't have the same impact that genuine passion will.

To find your passion as yourself these questions:

Why do I care about this audience?
Why do I like and respect this audience?
What do I want for this audience?  (note that's want *for*, not want *from*)
What can I share with them to help them get that?
