My friend Debbie and I are trying our hand at making a short film as part of movie fest. Thus far, we are plotting the plot, such as it is (we're avoiding dialogue at the moment!)
I've loved working as a production assistant for the 48hours competition - all the juggling/logistics/organisation is right up my street. I've been involved artistically on plays, but never in a film. Long term, my goals include working professionally as a production manager/unit manager/ assistant director in film and/or TV production so this a good way to learn.
Watch this space... now we just have to do it!
